The Haarlemmerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk are located in the Jordaan and offer a variety of cute independent shops and affordable restaurants. It’s also home to Amsterdam’s oldest cinema The Movies, a great spot to end your day with dinner & a movie.

3. Utrechtsestraat

In the Utrechtsestraat you can do some serious fun shopping in one of many awesome trendy brands and specialty stores. End your shopping spree in a cozy cafe or go for some super yummy tapas at Pata Negra, a favorite amongst locals.
